Thoughts on PUG in MMO’s

Long time no post! I’ve been lost in the wilderness outside of the Cantina for a while now, caught up in the winds of work and fatherhood, but something has drawn me back, something has prompted me to sit still long enough to write some words here. And that something is Destiny.

WoW:TM is a Thing again.

Today several sites are reporting that the much-delayed, (sort of) long-awaited World of Warcraft film has a new director and a 2015 release date. It may be news to some of you that it had an old director, but it did. And it pains me to say that the previously attached director was Sam Raimi. Chuck Norris + World of Warcraft = WIN!

New advert for World of Warcraft! Featuring Chuck Norris! And a bunch of Chuck Norris jokes! And a blog post with an innordinate amount of exclamation marks!

The Guild

One of the many things I enjoy watching is The Guild, it is a fantastic web series written by Felicia Day who plays the main character Codex. It’s about a group of online gamers who are all part of the same guild. It’s funny and also very addictive. I’d recommend it to anyone who plays World of Warcraft or knows someone who does, it’s brilliant.

Here is the first episode just to get you started.
